Pitt jäi kuidagi võõraks seekord aga film ise oli väga lummav oma erinevate ajastutega, kostüümidega ning üleüldse huvitava stsenaariumiga. Stsenaarium võiks Oscar olla küll. Miks mitte? Ootused olid laes ja peaaegu sain kõike, mida ootasingi aga midagi jäi nagu puudu. Kas oli see lõpp või liiga sügavalt romantilisse draamasse kandumine või midagi muud, mis oleks võinud teistsugune olla, aga ikkagi üks huvitavamaid kinoelamusi üle pika aja.

Paramount Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button on 5th May 2009. David Fincher’s latest stars Brad Pitt in a grand tale of a not-so-ordinary man and the people and places he discovers along the way, the loves he finds, the joys and romance of life and what lasts beyond time
The 2-Disc Criterion DVD ($39.99 SRP) and 2-Disc Criterion Blu-ray Disc ($39.99 SRP) boast over three hours of special features including interviews with stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett with behind-the-scenes footage of their astonishing on-screen transformations, an in-depth documentary revealing the unusual journey of the film itself including the secrets of its award-winning visual effects and an exploration of the computer wizardry that brought the magical world of Benjamin Button to life. There will also be a single-disc DVD ($29.99 SRP) that is the film-only.
The DVD is presented in anamorphic widescreen with English, French and Spanish DD5.1 Surround audio and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The Blu-ray Disc is presented in 1080P Widescreen with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French and Spanish DD5.1 Surround and English, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles.

Worst criterion cover, that's for sure. Loodetavasti ei saa see neil tavaks ja jätkavad ikka vanade restaureerimisega. Aga noh, Criterion peab ka raha teenima. Kes neid Bergmani filme ikka seal nii palju ostab. Vähemalt ei pannud nad Transformersit või mingit muud jaburust lettidele nagu vanasti Armageddoniga. Hää Buttoni fännidelt lüpsta nüüd kalli Criterioni hinnaga.

Cover tundub küll veidi kahtlane, aga hind on täiesti tavaline ju. Võib-olla kaheplaadiline DVD oleks muidu mõned dollarid odavam aga BD hind on täiesti tavaline.
