Ewert and the Two Dragons ja Badass Yuki domineerisid päris jõudsalt üle teiste, vähemalt kuulamise erinevate variantide osas. Eriti just esimest sai mängitud nii tapeedi kui ka deliberate kuulamise jaoks. Kahest EP'st oli tugevam Stones and Holes, kuigi ka galvaanilised elevandid suutsid aasta esimesel poolel juba enne EP ilmumist end kahe looga piisavalt õigustada. Rum Rumble veniv vokaal võib õige esitusjärjekorra puhul kas a) tuua tibutagi seljale või b) algatada koduse karaoke, kus püüan sama vinguvalt lauljaga kaasa laliseda. Epliku viies ei meeldind. Isegi suvise kontserdiga ei saanud plaat enam sõbraks ning jäi sama võõraks kui välja tulekul. Detsembri alguses Tartu Uues Teatris erinevatelt albumitelt pärit lauludega suutis Eliit end hoomamatul määral paremini kehtestada, tants-ja-trall algas sisuliselt esimestest nootidest ning jätkus ka hiljem Epliku plaadimängimise ajal, kui inimesed üksteise võidu kentsakamaid kantriliigutusi välja mõtlesid.

Ei kuulanud palju uut muusikat. Konkurentsitult parim oli PJ Harvey album "Let England Shake". "Ninth" vanameister Peter Murphy esituses ei jätnud samuti külmaks. Kodumaistest bändidest paistsid silma Kosmikud "Öö ei lase magada" plaadiga ning Ewert and The Two Dragons üllitisega "Good Man Down". Soundtrackidest olid meeldejäävamad Drive ja Hanna OST.

Ei ole eriline n.ö. tervikplaatide kuulaja, kuulan rohkem erinevaid singleid. Kuid on ka erandeid, põhiliselt kuulan oma lemmikartistide plaate. 2011.aastal tuli umbes pooltel minu lemmikutel plaat välja, pooltel mitte.
